Italian Sausage...

OK, I caved today for lunch and instead of having my usual lean lunch I had some sweet italian sausage that was brought in in a crock pot. I know we are to go and use something similar but what would you use if the amounts vary so much? I don't know the brand so I went with generic. But if I go use a brand the calories are much higher. What should I do? Use the higher amount and take it from there?

    I always go with the higher to make sure I am no over, or if there are many different types, I average somewhere between the highest and lowest.

    Can you ask the person who brought it what brand it was? Then you know for sure!

    Ask and see what brand it was. Don't worry about it to much. You did it once. Not like you ate the whole pot!
