Polar HRMs - Silent Mode?

Does anyone know if the PolarFT4F has a silent mode? I am dying to wear a HRM to my power yoga class to get an accurate calorie burn, but it can't beep during class! I've been trying to figure this out online, but without much success. Any info would be awesome!
