When I see on tv or hear on the radio commercials for these weight loss gimmicks that encourage you not to change your lifestyle at all. WHAT THE HECK!? How is that ok? It just reminds how short sighted and ignorant so many people are! I have to change the channel or mute it or something! Just drives me crazy! *phew* a little better now lol

ITA..everybody wants something for nothing. It's one of the reasons why a lot of us have so much weight to lose and our lifestyle/attitudes have taken a dive in some ways.
I just plan on teaching my kids old school things like..if you want it work for it LOL.0 -
That's most of America for ya. Get something for nothing and get it NOW. Instant everything with minimal effort.
That explains those commercials and the 22 year olds who don't want to be in the mail room but want to be the CEO in a month.
Makes me sick.0 -
I get frustrated with the exercise infomercials. I understand they put the most in shape people on there they can find because they want you to think you're going to look like that. Not everybody can have a body like that no matter how hard they try! Some people just aren't built that way.0

Actually gina205 IIRC, I think they hire people that are exceedingly fit and are professionals at being cut, then they ask them to gain weight. It's done in reverse lol. That's what I've heard around.0
