So I lost 19 pounds and then decided I would eat whatever I wanted in whatever amount. I was stressed and depressed and generally unhappy and food made it all better.. Then I saw the scale creeping back up and instead of eat healthy again I downed a hershey bar and some soda. Well today I said enough is enough! I worked hard to lose those 19 pounds and I've got about 50 more to go so today I put the kids in the stroller and walked 2 miles to the zoo, all around the zoo and then two miles home.. Was gone almost 4 hours and I figure 3 of them were spent walking.. So as of today I'm going back to my healthy ways!!!!

Thats great! You are a motivation to the rest of us still on a binge. I will be throwing out the rest of the sweets today and buying more vegis and fruit again. Tomorrow morning I go on a long needed walk for my cardio. Keep up the good work!
  • Just remember to do it one step at a time...one workout at a time.. one day at a time. We all have those ups and down so don't think you are alone when you cave on your goal(s). I good friend of mine asked me a question that put it in perspective for me. She asked, "if you fall down one or two stairs as you are trying to climb up would you go ahead and throw yourself down the rest of those stairs?" As we climb those stairs towards our goals we need to remember how far we have come so we don't feel compelled to fall all the way down to the bottom. I liked how you chose to remember how far you had come to turn it around for yourself.

Take your time, center yourself on your goal(s), and steadily progress towards them... You have already proved you can do it. Good luck
