Hi, Ive been using this site for a couple of weeks but this is my first time posting.
My sodium levels are quite low, I know this because I have low blood pressure and I can see it now im tracking the sodium in my diary. But I dont know how I can increase it or if its that much of a problem. I see lots of people talking about sodium but I dont see why mine is so low. I dont really add salt to my cooking unless im eating something like chips. Ive tried adding more salt to my food and eating things like bacon but I dont think its enough.

I will make my diary public

Wow, I wish I had this problem too.

I wish I was more qualified to answer this. I don't want to tell you to go pouring salt on everything, but you could indulge, I guess.

Personally, I would talk to your doctor. Each person is different. Mine is high, so I monitor mine fairly close for overage. My body tells me, as long as I am willing to listen when it has been too much. There are different forms of sodium for intake, so one may be better then another. Once your doctor gives you some ideas, then I would find out what falls into the guidelines of what he/she suggests for you. Good luck!
