My advice would be to peel them first, cause their very hard to peel when frozen.

thanks I'll try it. and I love the tips and the fruit info.
  • You peel them first. I love chocolate covered bananas so I put a popsicle stick in mine, it makes me feel like I'm eating one! lol

I freeze in the skin, then take out for about 20 minutes to slightly thaw before peeling.

You can also put bananas in the frig to keep them longer.

I peel them, and cut them up into small, bite-sized pieces and freeze! The kids love these too.

Also - if you buy frozen blueberries, they are great to chew on as well! I just fill a small bowl of frozen bleuberries and munch away for a low-cal, high fiber dessert!

I peel them and put them in a freezer bag. My freezer bag right now has about 6 bananas in it.

One frozen banana, 1 table spoon almond butter (or peanut butter), 3/4 scoop Designer whey protein chocolate powder, 1 cup nonfat milk, blender.

Try it you'll like it. A fairly high calorie snake, but does fuel your muscles on a weight lifting day.
