Hi, I have been vegetarian for 30 years but after a dreadful virus over christmas i have become Vegan ( no, i cant explain it either)
I starting using this site sept ish last year with a view to keeping an eye on my protein intake, but since becoming vegan i am using it all the time to watch what i am eating. I have found it indispensible and has helped me maintain a balanced diet. Just wondered whether there was anyone else like me out there who is using this brilliant site , not as an aid to weight loss but as an aid to making sure they are getting enough of the right stuff!!

    Nice to meet ya!

    There are plenty of vegans on MFP. Most of them are working on losing a bit of weight, but it definitely is handy to have a tool that allows you to track what kinds of nutrients we're getting!

    hi!
    yes i have found it a great tool, it would be even better if they could include all the vitamins especially B12, or am I asking too much?
