One Day @ a Time

I'm not new to working out and eating healthy, but I am new to starting all over. I'm at a point where if I get any heavier, I'm afraid that my health will deteriorate even more. I have a family history of high blood pressure and I know this is a "one day at a time" thing, but I just need to remember to remain focused on my goals. I'm 32 years old and am currently taking two blood pressure pills! This has to stop! I've been taking two pills for about 3 years and I know it is due to my weight. I'm just glad I am as tall as I am because people would never guess how much I truly weigh because it doesn't show as much as it would if I were average female height. Lol!! Let's all stick together and we will succeed. Remember, Philippians 4:13: I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.

You came to the right place. Welcome aboard. You can add me as a friend if you like. I hope you do get your health under control. 32 is very young to be on 2 blood pressure meds.
I am trying to avoid the type 2 diabetes that runs in my family.
Best wishes.
P.S. God's been helping me out on my treadmill. it's been an experience.0 -
