Monday - 1.5 bottles sparkling wine
    Tuesday - 0

Bad start to the week already  I am planning to try and hang out till next Monday again though. Still trying to cut my binge drinking to once a week not twice. Failed last week but always up for trying again! :blushing:

I'll join you again on your quest for sobriety. It's my weekend to work and I have yet to complete any minutes of my 360 move it challenge. Planning to exercise 2 hours tomorrow, 2 hours Thursday, 1 hour Saturday and 1 hour Sunday. I was going to partake on Friday; but, this might motivate me not too. I CAN do this, right?!

You sure can Kim you proved it last week! Wow 2 hrs exercise in one day, you are amazing if you can do that. Exercise is my biggest challenge at the moment. On work days I'm ok it's the days off I find it really hard to motivate myself.

    Monday - 1.5 bottles
    Tuesday - 0
    Wednesday - 0

My favourite curse is sparkling wine. Yellowglen Yellow, cuvee's and cuvee bruts

    Of course you can Kim.

I remember when I was exersizing 5 and 6 hours a day. I miss it. I struggle to get my one hour in a day now.

    Monday 0
    Tuesday 0

I really had to talk myself out of a drink last night but at least I was very persuasive. and I went to bed stone cold sober. I am not sure how far I willpush this. par of me really wants to have Friday be my night with wine but that tends to send me down a dangerous path all weekend. I don't know I will guess I will just play it by ear.

sunday - 2 tbsp nyquil (what? it contains alcohol!):drinker:
    monday - 4 tbsp nyquil
    tuesday - 4 tbsp nyquil
tuesday night - realized nyquil has 93 calories per dose:explode:
wednesay - headed to walmart to buy nyquil gel caps:happy:
  • I have a hangover today from splitting a bottle of red AND a bottle of champagne with BF last night. It is really making me sad because I went to spinning this morning and instead of feeling 100% great and accomplished, I just feel guilty. At least I'm babysitting tonight so its an automatic 0 drink day for me. I need it!

    Awesome!!!!!
<wonders if she should have logged the nyquil last week>

Don't feel guilty about the lackluster spin class that followed the hangover...at least you went! Small victories, girl!

Robin, just start drinking later. If you normally start at 7P, change it to 8 or 8:30...that way, it's one less hour of intake...I find that's another method to control intake:ohwell:

    cformica, dang nyquil has calories!!:grumble:

Faith, I can do 2 hours in a day if need be and this is one of them

Monday, 3 margaritas, 2 Sam Adams
    Tuesday, nada
    Wednesday, nada

There, it's in writing, no alcohol tonight....have to admit it's getting kind of easier to refrain

Wow, so not cool that Nyquil has calories! I guess though, to be fair - if you take it and you are really sick - you aren't consuming many calories that day anyways.

    Mon 3.5 Bud55
Tuesday 0 (oh wait, NYQUIL x's 1 dose)
    Wednesday 0

    Hi Ladies,

I hope all is well in the lush world. I have fallen off miserably and been called a functional drunk ...hmph .... anyway, life's challenges has caused me to drink hennessy every night for about the past week now. I have got to do better and i know I will.

Have a great hump day ladies.

Nope, it's individual...they run in waves of 500 every 1/2 hour...they fill up fast...also, there is a code promotion for $5.00 off...try to find that if you sign up...I forgot it; but, can find out at work
  • I am doing a candida yeast diet right now so no alchohol more or less. But when I am drinking I actually pre measure it. 8 oz Though sometimes I pour an extra 4 oz. Otherwise I will drink too much just because I am not pay attention to how much i have consumed.

My arms and hands are still shaking following my circuit class then 20 minute swim, I am so fatigued. Not only is it hard to type, the worst thing is trying to control my glass of white wine so that it reaches my mouth without spilling any!

I appear to be not limiting drinking days this week, I have 3 days off work as my children are on school holiday so that's as good a reason as any to indulge I feel :drinker:

    Lol, Yvonne.

Thanks Kim, I'd love that code. I might put a shout out to all my work friends to see if they want to do it.

This is definitely the thread for me, can I play?

I'm a journalist, and a bit typical in that respect, and living with a chef - a fatal combination! I've been dry all week thanks to lack of money, but tomorrow will be my first real test. We both get paid, and we're going out for drinks in the pub, a curry, then more drinks at home.

Up in the morning early for a looong workout to stockpile a few booze calories, methinks!

Great group. I find I never plan for wine calories. This week I am going to look at the events I have planned and if they include wine plan for the calories.
    Thanks for this group.
