First 10lbs off!

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to find out if anyone else had a similar experience? I was getting a little frustrated there for a minute.
I have been on a 1600 calorie diet for the past 2 weeks, going to the gym 3 x week with a personal trainer and doing 1 extra day on my own. I kept getting to 7lbs, 8lbs, 8.5lbs lost and then back down to 5 & 6lbs lost. Grrr! I guess this was because of the muscle weight and water weight.
Don't be discouraged if this happens to you, just keep pushing and you will get through it. Now I am ready to reach the 20lb mark! Who's with me?

Riding that roller coaster now. I have been really focused - eating well and exercising hard and went up 5 lbs in January. Was ready to throw in the towel yesterday, skip the workout and go to Ihop. But took a deep breathe, reset my head and went to the gym.
This morning at the gym the instructor did not come in for the classes (turbo kick & yoga tone). I was onn the elliptical so decided to stay on. Achieved a personal best of 81 minutes and 1080 ccalories. When I started my new life my only exercise was walking to the end of my driveway and it killed me. When I lost a little and made it to the gym I was able to do only 5 minutes on the treadmill or 2 minutes on the elliptical. I thought about that today when I was done. So even if the scale doesn't always reflect it there are other ways to gauge acheivement. I know I am kicking butt. You will too. JUST STAY WITH IT!!!!!!0 -
That is outstanding! You should be very proud of yourself! It's these little milestones that add up over time and before long, we look back and think about where we started from in the beginning.0
