It's about time I said hi : )

4 days in and 4 pounds down! This is so useful and I find filling it in each evening fun...for the moment at least:smile:

Over the past ten years that I've been married to my lovely hubby, we've had 3 kids and my weight has yo-yo-ed. The other day I worked out that I had lost a collective 15 stone over the years in an effort to stay under a size 16 :frown:

I am currently 13st 6 pounds and ideally want to be 12st 4lb. That seems to be the magic weight where I am a size 14 bottom, but still with boobs:laugh: I'm not kidding...if I lose too much, they just disappear altogether.

So I have just over a stone to lose and I am well and truly..'IN THE ZONE' : )

On a sad note...my little girl said to my husband the other day out of the blue...'Daddy do you think I will be like you and be able to eat crisps and chocolate or like mummy and have to worry about what I eat all the time?' I could of cried when he told me. I really try to hide my anxiety regarding food/weight/exercise, but the bottom line is...when you have to work this hard to keep your waistline in check..it's hard to hide:frown:

  • Way to go its good to see you are noticing weight loss!!! Its such a great motivation and a reason to keep going...

On the sad note, its unfortunate you little girl said that but you have to focus on yourself when it comes to your weight, for your health its such a great reason to keep fighting the fat fight. You want to have a long healthy life so you can enjoy it with your family!!!

Good luck on your journey :) I wish you well

Your children are darling! Definitely try not to talk about your weight issues or how much you dislike yourself or your weight...I'm a school nurse and we mom's definitely have an affect on our daughters. Sadly many (most) young girls start worrying about their weight at younger and younger ages. I think it is ok to talk about how happy eating healthy makes you and you want to take care of your body because we only have one! Good luck...PS I envy you I wish my boobs would go down! Considering a reduction but first have to get to goal weight!
  • I tell Daisy and Matilda (Billy's only 2: ), that I eat big and strong food which I really like. I say that I eat less of crisps choc etc because it isn't as healthy for my body.

Seriously, be careful what you wish for ; ) If I go down to 11 stone, my boobs are empty spaniel ears and that isn't even an exaggeration! : D

Seriously though, I do sympathise. My mum has a lot of back eache relating to her chest size.

Thanks guys for your support : )xx Right back at you! xx
