this is so not a good day!

Its almost 3 pm, I’m hungry, and I only have 760calories left for the day. Iv planned grilled chicken for dinner but don’t know what I will fix with it. but that will bring me down 290 just in its self. ……….. this is so not a good day! I’m about to drink a lot of water and eat an apple maybe that will help. I have been very busy the last week and burned calories so was able to eat more but today I am so tired and don’t have much to do! All I WANT to do is sleep :yawn: is it failure if you have a day over calories? :sad:

    :smile: Try taking a walk to fight the urge to eat or have a cup of your favorite tea. Hang in there it happens to all of us. Cheering for you to make it through the urge to overeat.:flowerforyou:

    No it isn't failure if you go over. Try not to get out of hand, but your body may be telling you something too. Just make sure you drink a lot of water because oftentimes we feel hungry when we really are just thirsty. Try the apple - bulky and nutritious! I'm worried that if you don't eat something now you will eat way more than you should later to fill the void. And maybe you could go for a walk to occupy yourself and get your mind off of it????

    760 calories is still a lot left for the day when it is 3 PM. But I am at a 1200 cal/day intake so if I had that many left right now I would be worried about how to eat that much with the rest of the day.

    It is not failure if you go over some it happens to us all. But try to decide it if is actual hunger that is making you want to eat or stress or worry or some other trigger before you do. I have often gone over but I try to stay close. It is a target point you are going for. For me if I were to strict with myself I would probably not have made it this far.

    If you can do it and you know it isn't true hunger find something to take your mind off the food.

    You can do it.

    You know, I found out that Spahgetti squash with lite sauce only comes to about 125 calories (1/2 cup of sauce and about 2 cups of squash. It's easy to make, cheap, and fills you up almost like pasta. You could throw your chicken in with it, and maybe some broccoli or raab and it makes a very filling, still light calories meal.

    Thank you all for the pep talk. I am at work right now but I go home in 20 minutes. I will try to find something to do to keep me busy but as I said im sooooo tired. The water seems to be helping some. My cal/ day intake is 1600 wow I don’t thing I could do this if I only had 1200 cal/day intake.
    I have never tried Spaghetti squash but it sounds good I will have to try it but not this week, I have $0 left in my food budget this week. Wish me luck tonight (maybe my children will “very nicely” keep my busy tonight) lol… I will check in tomorrow when I get to work.
    I think if I can be brave enough to post on here I might do this :blushing:

    We all go over some days, just don't go buck wild and eat everything that comes your way! Keep it smart, you can't feel bad if you keep it smart because at least you can say it wasn't a quart of ice cream or the rest of the halloween candy!

    Tomorrow is a fresh start!

    I DID IT!!:happy:
    I went home and the kids and I went for a walk, well I walked they rode their bikes. Then I cleaned up the messes from the morning rush and fixed dinner by the time the night was over I had 90 cal left over. I had Romen noodles and salad with my grilled chicken. :smile:

    CONGRATULATIONS!! You made it over that hurtle! You figured out a way to get past it and come out on top. I am proud of you and for you.
