I'm a stay at home mom that over the years has let my kids eat just as unhealthy as me, now I'm trying to change that and its not easy. I'm always looking for new recipes that will appeal to my kids, trying to make old favorites better. I was wondering if there was other moms or dads out there in the same boat, maybe we could support each other. I'm looking for support, ideas, and advice.

i think it is important to first get rid of all the negative foods in the home and then start buying fresh whole foods. No box mixes of mac and cheese, etc. I don't follow recipes, I just create what is on my mind - LOL

I agree, its easy and cheap to use the boxes but those should be the first to go (and most of us moms use em). Feel free to add me if you'd like to snoop through my foods :), I also like to try and cook the things everyone else around us eats but healthy. The key really is making things from scratch for the most part and replacing un healthy snacks with fruits and veggies, check out the hungry girl recipes if you haven't already, she has some great swaps.
