So your honey bunny is taking you out to dinner and bought you a box of your favorite treats. How do you plan on keeping within your healthy eating habits?
I know it'll be hard for me because I LOVE FOOD! And pretty much every time I go out to eat my eyes betray me.
I'm thinking of making that day a cheat day.

Im planning on working out twice that day and enjoy it but not over do it on the sweets! We will be staying home that night so im going to cook up a healthy dinner for the family and then treat myself to dessert......

If you know where your going out that night you can look up the menu and figure out what is the best thing to eat and the day after freeze all the left over treats from your hunny.

Well, it's not only valentines day, it's also our 8th anniversary (cheesy, I know, lol). But I already scrapped the going out (blame the lack of money for that) and also said, that it's pointless to buy wine and cook nice dinner, it's only 8 years. We are keeping the big celebration for 10th anniversary...so maybe it's a blessing that we don't actually celebrate valentine's day. I probably would have failed otherwise.

Thats a great idea! Cooking at home :) The bf has plans to go to an Italian restaurant that has the best lasagna in the area. So that means lots of cheese. I will look up the restaurant and check out their menu. I don't want to stick to salads.
  • For the last two years, my BF and I have done something active on VDay. Last year we played raquetball and the year before that we did indoor rock climbing. Pick something fun that's outside of your usual gym routine that's he's interested in as well. Best of all? No crowds! And in addition to all the fun bonding time with your hunny, you feel like you deserve that extravagant dinner and chocolates.

This is also a great idea! I would've never thought of this. Thanks for the input :)

I have decided to treat myself that day however instead of eating the whole box of choccies i will savour them over a week (hopefully). As for dinner i will just have t choose one of the healthier dishes :)
