Just a shout out to those of us in Southern Louisian who will learn to live in health and hung-overness during Mardi Gras Season. Here is to keeping off the lbs and still having a grea time. I am rooting for myself and for any of you in the same float as me!!!!!

    Haha.... I'm in Lafayette (and from Thibodaux) and I so totally kwym!!!! Mmmmmm king cake (and Blue Bells king cake ice cream) .... Gosh I'll miss you this year

    And I am super ashamed to say it is all the delicious booze that are sooo OK to drink during MG! I love you mimosas, beer, bloody mary's and even a daquiri!

    I guess I am lucky, I never drank, quit smoking 2 years ago and been eating healthy since 2003 (when I made the lifestyle change) .. so this time of year isn't too bad for me. I've learned to walk on by the king cakes without looking back .. except when it's a blueberry filled king cake, then I will sneak a quick second glance.

    hey neighbor!

    My boss brought in a blueberry cheese cake king cake on Monday. It is safe. I don't like blueberries at all.
