So I have been taking One a day Women's active metabolism to get the vitamins I need and also to "hopefully" boost my metabolism. Has anyone else taken this vitamin and has it helped them?

For what it's worth, I think vitamins are a big money waste.

Ok So has anyone else taken this and had results?

p.s the splitting the vitamin is a great idea. I never knew that I would pee it out before it took effect.

I disagree......it depends on the quality. I take 2000 units of vitamin D daily and feel more energized, less foggy headed, and less depressed -- especially during the winter months. I will be having my level tested soon, and depending on the result, I may up that to 4000 units.

I also take Calcium, one or two depending how much milk/yogurt I've had during the day, and magnesium as well.

Vitamins D and the B's are your energy boosters.
  • I take kelp pills. (iodine) Suppose to help promote healthy thyroid function (for a sluggish metabolism).
