I started a profile about a year ago while I was on yet another fad diet that failed. This year I am determined to do things the right way. I have decided to change the way I eat, giving myself two months to wean out bad foods. I have also started exercising daily. I am using the wii fit right now and walking outdoors for 45 minutes to an hour. I have exercised everyday for the past 10 day. woo hoo. I am determined to lose the 80 pounds I am carrying extra by this time next year. I have migraines that are triggered by artificial sweeteners among other things but that one trigger really puts a damper on my ability to endulge in sweets with artificial sweeteners or diet sodas, so I am trying to incorporate the occasional soda pop or couple cookies into the mix. I know as a sweet lover I will never be able to completely cut these things out and trying in the past has only led to failure and binges. I am determined that with work and exercise and dietary changes I can do this. Feel free to add me as a friend. and if you have any good recipes feel free to let me know. I am trying to keep my calorie intake under 1500 a day.

A little about me, I am a mother of 2 boys ages 5 and 10. I am a pharmacy technician who is working on pursing a nursing degree. I love animals and have a small zoo at home. I have been with my husband for almost 13 years. and that is about it. Look forward too metting more like minded people on here. Good luck to everyone.
