Hey there.

I've just been looking on-line and found that you can now buy egg whites in the UK.

I've seen them on the Biggest Loser and X-Weighted (not as if I am totally obsessed with food)!lol - oh yes I am! I've never known what you would cook with them other than meringue! Lol

What do you do with them?

Any good recipe ideas? Are they tasty? I looked on one site, but I think they guys responding were body builders, talking about how they eat ten eggs a day! Ten? And then drink some egg whites? Bleurgh !

Cheers guys

I will sometimes use them to make a scramble with lots of veggies, put them on a tortilla with a little cheese, and they're quite tasty. I generally use them to make a scramble or an omlette. They need lots of seasoning.

Why not just purchase and eat what nature intended????????

    Real eggs. Plain and simple.

Cartonned egg whites are going to be highly processed and not as healthy as real, whole eggs.
  • I'm with you Catherine1979. I love to cook egg white for breakfast on a wheat wrap with a little cheese. It's filling and good for you!
  • Theyre selling them in Waitrose and Sainsburys - if you look on a site called 'twochicks' I think ... or was that something hubby was looking at ! lol lol xxx

Think I may stick to my normal eggs after all that xxx

    Thank you guys
