Staying on Track

On Jan 3, 2011, I started changing my lifestlye on watching my food intake (calories) and exercising after a 2 yr hiatus and 30 pounds gained at a very uncomfortable 185lbs. I began the MFP in mid-January after it was recommended by a friend who is a Trainer (I don't have a personal trainer).
I want to loose at most, one pound per week. Now at Feb 3, 2011 I have done such. It took 2 years to gain 30 pounds, I can wait 3 more months of my goal weight back to 160 lbs by May 23rd.
For those of you that are discouraged over pounds not dropping like dead flies, be patient and pay attention to your body. I can tell my body is slowly changing and clothes are fitting better and looser which I find much more rewarding than focusing on how much I weigh.
