Un-whining

Okay, so last week I put up a whining post about gaining a pound after being back here for a week and being diligent. I knew it was just my body adjusting (I've been through this plenty) but still felt a bit peeved. Today I surpassed what I'd set as my birthday goal of 168 and reached 167.5 - A 4 pound loss in a week! That's more than I'd expected at all! I never lose that much, that quickly. I don't expect the weight to fall off like that regularly but it sure felt good! That, combined with a super sweet birthday card from my parents that made me cry (I'm a sap, especially when it comes to Hallmark stuff), and all of the birthday wishes on Facebook sure made for an emotional first ten minutes to my day! LOL!!! Sooo...to any of you who get frustrated when the weight isn't coming off, just remember that your body adjusts as it needs to and, if you stick to it, the weight WILL come off. Promise. :) Happy day to everyone! :)

Thanks, guys! Sarah, just stick to it...don't give up. Make sure you're eating enough. When I first started the weight stopped coming off after a few weeks because I was only eating 1200 a day but, when I upped the calories by 300-400 (exercise cals) a day, I started losing 3-4 pounds a week! Not sure where you're at with your intake, but just a little idea. Good luck to everyone! Keep your chin up and the scale will go down!
