I don't do their actual diet, but I love their protein meal bars. I eat one every morning and they keep me pretty full!

It may work for weigh loss but it is not a healthy diet. Be careful on this diet is is very difficult to get all the required nutrition (vitamins and minerals) as special K does not have much of anything in it.

I do the cereal for breakfast and the bars for lunch. I usually have a good supper (within reason of course.)

    Thanks for the input.

I did it for almost two weeks and somehow i ended up craving munchies by the end of the day. The logical reason behind this is that it doesn't have proper vitamins and nutrients , it's rich in fibre . You can have it just as a breakfast option if you want but go for proper meals.

While I love their cereal and do use their protein meal bars sometimes I do not follow their diet.

I tried it and lasted less than a week as I was craving high fat and high sugar food all the time. I was also starving.

Different things work for different people so I wish you every success, good luck x

Starving yourself is not good. That makes you want food. Depriving yourself of nourishment when your body is crying out for it is a sure-fire way to fail at losing weight. Sorry, you may be able to stick to it for a while, but then you'll eat like there's no tomorrow and any weight lost will go back on, probably with a bit extra too.

I've yet to hear of anyone doing any particular diet that involves deprivation and hunger, saying that 1 year later, the weight is still off.

Eat healthily and exercise regularly. This is a sensible and sustainable way to lose weight and keep it off - the most important bit!

I looked at it out of curiosity, but knew it wasn't for me - I try to eat a lot of protein in the morning as it keeps me fuller longer and really fuels my day.
