And all I can think about is food. It doesnt help that mr 4 asks for something to eat every 5 minutes and that usually on "at home days" we bake the day away.

I think we will head out this afternoon even though I think the kids really need a day at home after busy school hols :o(

Hang in there! I get the same way when I get home from work--which is school (I am a teacher!). I have the munchies then. What about a healthy snack that you can put together? Try some fun things with fruits and veggies. Let them decide what to make. It may make the time go by faster and you will end up eating something healthy.

On my third day of being snowed in and have another tomorrow. My daughter made cookies yesterday and my husband bought chips and ice cream when he heard the storm was coming. I broke down a bit yesterday but over all have held it together. I think I'd have a really hard time in a place that had weather like this all the time. Spring, where are you!

I'm in Oklahoma. We had about 14 inches of snow in one day. Unusual for us so the city isn't really prepared. We've been out of school since Tuesday. I'm a teacher as well as a mom so no work either. It's super cold too so it's not even fun going outside. The high today is only 16.
