What a Horrible Day ...

Today was a bust.

My step daughters are here for the weekend. With them they brought some friends ( of the creepy crawly itchy type) yep , head lice. Worst part.... their mother knew they had it , did not treat them and sent them here without telling us they had it. After talking to the girls, their mom said " oh well let your father pay for it, Tracy can do your heads if she wants them done" So I have spent from 12 this afternoon til 6:30 tonight doing treatments and trying to get all the critters out, yes they were THAT BAD. I have been in tears all day , cause Im just SO MAD that she would do this and put HER kids thru this.
I hate it when people talk about their spouses ex , but by god I am jumping on the band wagon today. This thing that calls herself a mother is disgusting and doesn't deserve to have children, and I truly hope she rots.

That being said , I missed lunch , and when I get mad.. I eat, and eat I did. Here's hoping for a better tomorrow.

Don't you love people like that? As a teacher, I get to see a lot of lovely things that "parents" do. Nothing makes you more mad that someone doing that to a helpless child. Tomorrow is another day!:flowerforyou:

I have been there, done that and still go through it:grumble: My daugther has very long hair and when she was in school they put her next to the girl that kept getting lice( I found that out later) I would treat her and wash everything and 2 weeks later she would have them again, that would go on for month, untill I cut her hair into a short bob and after that we didn't have that problem. Now the grand kids come to visit and if I get lucky they tell me they have them, or I will check them if they start itching, which by then I have to treat everything again:noway: .
My mom and sister came to visit last year and no one told us they had them, my mom and sister went home and didn't notice till much later that they had them..... Yuck just thinking about it made me itch.... If I could I would come over and help you with it,:flowerforyou: I know how much work it is and I am sorry your husbands Ex is such a nasty person....but this too will pass untill you have grandkids and then you can take them back.:laugh: ....

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. I should be used to the way she is after being with hubby for 8 years , I just can't wrap my head around her lack of concern for anyone but herself. Today will deffinately count as an off day

Head lice is such a horrible mess! Tons of emotions go with them, especially in the situation you were forced into. Just in case no one has said it yet, THANK YOU SO MUCH for loving those girls so much that you would undertake this labor of love for them. Thank you for loving them enough to make their problem your problem & invest 6 or 7 hours of TLC in those precious little girls. God bless you! :flowerforyou:
