Today is the day that I finally reached my goal I set for myself May 31st, 2010. I saw 125 for the first time in a decade...yes I said decade. I FEEL FREAKING AWESOME! It's not just the health benefits from losing weight but the mental benefits of accomplishing a goal...finishing (not really finished with the journey but you know what I mean) a project. I've stopped and started a healthy lifestyle more times than I can count. In the beginning I could hardly go up and down the steps in my house, I wasn't sleeping, I was sad 95% of the time and I had NO ENERGY. I have walked miles on the treadmill, rocked it with Turbo Fire, yelled at Jillian doing 30 Day Shred and Slim in 6'd my weigh (pun intended) to 125. I have had bumps in the road, self-imposed plateau from October to December and other stumbling blocks on the way but I DID NOT QUIT ON MYSELF and most importantly my MFP friends have been there to support me ALL THE WAY. I honestly could not or would not have done it without MFP.

Thanks for being there for me and I will ALWAYS be there for you on your way to a healthy lifestyle!

My new goal will be to drop maybe another 5-10...being 5 ft 1 that is reasonable. The main thing I'm going to focus on is toning up. I hit 39 this year so this is the year to bring it so I can go into 40 FIT AND FABULOUS!!!

Thanks guys! I have been thinking that I really need to reward myself some way but certainly not with food. I'm going shopping tomorrow with my high school girlfriends (we haven't seen each other in over a year!!!) so I may just get a new outfit!
