So, when making my sons lunch yesterday, I cooked some tri-color rotini noodles, but since I was making it for him, I forgot to weigh the dry pasta *smack* I took some of it after it was cooked to make my lunch today. I tooked 56GRAMS of cooked pasta and now having trouble determing the calories for it
The nutritionals on the box of dry pasta said that 56g is equal to 210calories! I really hope the few pasta rotini I had was not 210 calories.
Can anyone help me figure out the calories of my cooked pasta, please? I am not even sure which equation to use since 210calories is for 56g of dry pasta and not cooked.
Thank you for any help

My understanding is that 2oz of dry pasta is about 1 cup of cooked.0

Thanks. I guess I will have to wait until after work to figure out the calories since I am going to need to weigh out the pasta again. I don't know if the 56g was a cupful or not.0
