What's the real deal of avocados???

I know they are high in fat but--- aren't they a vegetable???

    First of all, it's avocado, not alvacado...

    Yes, they do have fat, but it's good fat that your body needs, so don't worry about it. And technically they are a fruit because they have a seed/pit inside of the flesh.

    Everybody look out, the spelling police is out looking for your spelling mistakes.
    Just a little FYI, you dont have to correct a persons spelling mistake, especially when they spelled it correctly in the post, it was clearly a typo.
  • OK--- I guess spelling is a touchy subject---- Anyways, I've already ate the 1/2 of AVOCADO :laugh:

    With 15 Special K "cracker chips"---- It was amazing and VERY low calorie (but kinda high in fat)

    If the avocados aren't ripe, go for the "Wholly guacamole" in the salad section of the grocery store. I buy the 100 cal packs and put them on turkey wraps - LOVE IT!!!
