Hi all! Hope you're well.
My name is kat, and i'm a running addict.
I bought a pedometer, and in a quest to properly calibrate it i stumbled upon this little gem: www.mapmyrun.com . Some of you have probably already found this site and others like it, but I was floored to find something so comprehensive. It fills all my neurotic running-training needs.
Check it out! You can track your daily workout routine (which is nice), but more importantly you can check the distance of a run using their map, find out your approx speed, track your heart rate, calories burned, etc etc and you basically end up with an incredibly detailed record of what you've been up to.
The only thing that I'm finding is that generally MFP and mapmyrun.com have different calorie counts for runs. So that's pretty confusing. Otherwise, it's been a FANTASTIC motivational tool. For real. Enjoy!
