Sliped On Shopping Day

I did my supermarket hopping in a frantic rush on an empty stomach (yes, I know bad idea but it was a hectic day) so I chucked some dried fruit in my trolly and chowed down. I though that I'd eaten 800 calories (which was actually okay because it made up for my exercise calories, and I give myself a 'cheat meal' and I was planing on giving myself dried mango, ginger and pineapple for my cheat meal. But when I did all the calculations it was 1,100 calories!! I'm so ashamed and feel so so STUPID!

Still managed to be under my calorie goal, but I feel like I've just had a big blow out.

When you have days like this, what do you do?

One day isn't going to derail your entire mission :) And don't punish yourself. Just pick yourself back up tomorrow and get back on track.

Don't let one day turn into more!

I've learned not to beat myself up over one slip. It took a while for me to learn that. Before, I would slip and be so down on myself, I would give up - after one slip! That's why this time around feels so much different and better. I love that I'm not perfect and that I am getting better at staying on track every day!

Good luck ~ you will do great!

  • Hi I suppose the best thing to do is put it behind you as a lesson learnt and concentrate on today........... I had a bad day yesterday as we had a Chinese Buffet so well over and I am not happy with that. Just hope it doesnt spoil my weeks lose. I was well over on calories and as I only weigh myself once a week I wont know till Wednesday.

Oh the dreaded buffet. I guess I shouldn't be too upset because I'm still under my calorie intake.

    You've got till Wednesday - you'll be fine!!!:flowerforyou:
