wholemeal spaghetti

I think I made a mistake in having wholemeal spaghetti tonight for dinner. I thought it would be better than white but on checking the packet it seems it's higher in everything the only advantage seems to be it is has more fibre? I'm a bit confused.

  • I think it is better for you due to being less refined than white, plus you will probebly find it keeps you feeling fuller for longer.:smile:

    agree. Keep buying foods that don't say enriched if you buy processed foods like pastas and breads...just a healthier choice.
  • Yeah wholemeal products tend to be much higher in calories.
    BUT they are so much better for you than normal! Because it hasn't been muddled around with :)
