I realized I have no will power at all when it comes to food. Yes I have tried, many many times in many many different ways to control myself. I just cant. I am an over eater... If I dont stick to this EXACTLY I will overeat ALWAYS even when im not hungry to the point where if I have another bite I will puke! It's sick I know... But I have no control over it.

A few days ago when I posted that I was going to quit.. I decided not to... But I jumped off the wagon.. In that short time have gained 5lbs... Im worse than before. Last night I went to a friend of mine who is a Pastor... He is going to help me out now. Im really excited for it. I dont want to quit.. I still plan on losing weight.. but now I am going to be better! Will be a great learning experience and adventure I think!

I think it's awesome that your sticking it out, sometimes having someone to help you out makes all the difference! You did the right thing by not giving up, I think we all feel like that sometimes, but how bad do you want it? When you are eating healthy are you giving yourself a cheat day so you don't feel completely deprived? Good luck, you can do it!!!:flowerforyou:

I sure will share with you. I know quite a bit about addictions already.. I have myself have helped others.. but helping yourself is not always as easy... Anything I learn I will post for all to see!

I'm so glad you decided not to quit. I have trouble with this same thing and I've quit many times in the past, but nothing ever gets better. So this time I'm not going to quit and eventually the weight will come off. Good luck and please do share anything that you learn.

I cant have cheat days either. But on Holiday's and B-Days, I do make an exception. Just go right back to it the next day. It takes time but you will improve your will power.

I was constantly falling off the wagon until I read the right book and learned why. Once I cut out the carbs (bread, fruit especially) and got rid of the cravings, and started eating 5 small meals a day, so I'm eating every 2.3 to 3 hours, it was much better because I rarely get hungry. You can't really gain five pounds in a day or two. At least not five pounds of fat or muscle. But if you are eating salt you sure can put on water weight. Don't beat yourself up about that. Just be sure you are drinking lots of water and green tea, otherwise your body will retain water and it will look like you gained!
I can now eat fruit in the morning, but I still have to stay away from bread and pasta. And I have to have lean protein and some produce with every meal.
Glad you are getting help. Don't give up on yourself! Besides, you are way too cute to give up!

hahaha thanks. I dont eat much bread and i dont eat pasta at all... I do eat some fruit.. I have at least 1 apple a day. And I do have protein and produce all the time... I know this 5lbs is not fat. Which I am glad for... But it slows me down a bit. Takes about 3 days to get rid of hahaha
