Anyone Training for the Susan B. Koman 3 day Walk?

I am excited and nervous. I am beginning my training for the 3 day walk in Chicago. It is 20 miles a day for 3 days for a total of 60 miles. My goal is to walk 3 miles this week, and keep increasing it. I have about 7 months to train. Anyone want to join me?

    I want to do the one in Cleveland so bad, but the 2,3000 fundraising requirement has me backing away. I just don't think I can get that much money off of friends and family.. Good Luck though you are going to have a blast!
  • It is AWESOME to do!! Emotions come out that are so refreshing. I did it in Detroit a few years back. Make sure you have GOOD shoes! Also get some sweat control socks. Your body will make it, but your feet might not.

    How was Chicago? I will be walking in my 4th 3 day in Arizona this year. I did Chicago my first year. It is so much fun and soo worth the pain!
