SO I have been doing Yoga for 4-6 weeks at my local Y.....I usually log this as Yoga (I do not have a HRM0....60 mins is about 190 calories burned...which seems about accurate as I do break a sweat and feel tired after...it is more vinyasa yoga........however, I just did the Jilliam Michaels dvd at home - what a 30 minute workout.....but MFP says about 92 calories burned....this cannot be right - I was breathing heavy, sooked in sweat (mind you I just did 30 minutes on the treadmill before)........
this sight does not seem to have a power Yoga selection - so I found one on the internet and it said I burnt 301 (entered weight and minutes).......what is more accurate????

If you're doing cardio before the yoga session it would be best to use a heart rate monitor. Every person burns differently. 100 calorie burn for a half hour of yoga doesn't seem far fetched.0

100 calories for 30 min of yoga is about right on average0

I'e never done JM's yoga dvd (but now I'm going to look it up!) but her 30 day shred burns around 300 cals for me, so if its anywhere close to the intensity of that I'd go with the higher figure0
