Persistence... Persistence... Persistence!

Persistence pays off! That is all I can say. Last week I would lose a pound one day and gain it back the next. All week it was like that up a pound, down a pound. Then, for 3 days I stayed the same. Since then, I've lost .8, .6, 1.4, and 2 lbs each time I weighed. That's a total of 4.8 lbs in 4 days. I don't quite understand it, but I'm not complaining!
My hubby was extremely discouraged last week as he was experiencing the same thing. I kept telling him he just had to stick it out. We kept at it and BAM! The last couple of days is has just started to FALL off!

The fluctuations might just be excess water. Just keep counting those calories, try not to go in the red on your calories, and eventually you'll meet your weight-loss goals.0

You are so right..i was 147.5 when i joined about 2 weeks ago. A week later after lots of excercising and tracking my food I found I had gained 3 lbs. Discouraged I kept on and realized I wasnt eating enough. (funny how that works) Today I weighed in and lost those 3 lbs. Keep up the good work and I hope you and your hubby make your goals :happy:0

It's true! I'm up with it's TOM, or ovulating, or stressed and tired, f If I eat too much processed or sodium rich foods, if I exercised a lot, if I didn't drink enough water, or had to much caffiene. On and on and on. I have noticed that I have to eat within my calorie goal at least 4 days in a row, too! Before movement on the scale down. The "reports" section also seems to prove that my weight will go down in some jumps, then a halt, then some jumps. It's reliably not going down when I want it to! But it does go down! Sometimes the inches go down when I'm so busy paying attention to the scale.
It's true, just keep on keeping on, and eventually the scale (and the inches) bumps down. It's the overall slope that matters.0
