I have 2 of these with half a cup of Hi-Lo milk every morning for breakfast. I go to bed every night excited for breakfast, thanks to these delicious babies: http://www.weetbix.com.au/weetbixfamily/weetbix-multigrain.aspx
Yes, I'm easily pleased :)

Problem is, after a long and stressful day of casual bar work at the cricket where I had my lunch at 4:20 pm and dinner at closer to 10:30 pm, I've woken up today craving the entire box that's in my cupboard. I had two for brekky already, then one for a morning snack with a mix of water and milk. But then I had another one, and then another two... and it's 2:30pm. Plus (a slightly unhealthy but giving into another craving) lunch and the almonds I had this morning to try to sate my nibbly feeling... I'm in trouble! What can I do to help these cravings? Is there something in these that my body wants at the moment or something like that? I'm not even hungry... but I'm struggling to stay away from the box!

Any suggestions? I guess doing exercise would help by occupying my mind, but I'm so freaking dead from yesterday and bloated from not enough water yesterday and too much weetbix today. Yes, weak excuses. I'll do my pilates videos tonight, but right now... ugh.

Sorry I don't have any advice but I just noticed these popping up in my local grocery store. An Aussie friend of mine had mentioned them to a mutual friend and I had never heard of them but just recently saw them in the organci section of the grocery store. Think I'll try some now! Good luck, I hope your craving subsides but at least its for something fairly healthy.
  • HI there, this sounds like me last week, we have a new flavour Wheatabix here in UK, chocolate! I did exactly the same as you! I have forbidden myself to buy anymore!.
    Good luck

I have found that when I have cravings, or want to eat substantially more than usual, it's usually because I'm tired and haven't had enough sleep. I think it's your body trying to tell you it's running low on fuel! If you have the opportunity for a nap, I would do that, nd drink plenty of water - I prefer warm water with a slice of lemon in it. Then make sure you have plenty of sleep tonight and hopefully tomorrow will be better - don't beat yourself up about one bad day :)
