I am new to the exercise world and need some help from you all. I have the diet and healthy eating down pat, but I'm lacking on the work-outs. I have no clue what type of exercises to do and for how long. If anyone can recommend a good web site, DVD, or personal tips you have, I would greatly appreciate the information.

I am also looking for friends on here to keep me motivated and do the same to you, so add me as a friend, and I will do what I can....Thanks for reading my post!!! Good luck to you!

  • If you are not used to exercising much, try and build up the intensity slowly.

Walking could be a good place to start, try going for a walk most days, start with 2 miles, then move it up to 4, then 6 etc.

Although I do go the gym and find this very good, exercise doesn't have to all be about pumping iron or complicated drills.
  • Well I can definitely recommend some great dvds I love to work out so if you need someone to motivate u then I'm here. Anyway I am big on turbo jam/fire workouts. They keep me sweating and give me a good workout. I do this in the winter and then when the weatther gets warm, I will walk outside. Oh btw u can get these dvd's at beachbody.com. hope this helps and goodd luck.
