I'm Breastfeeding....

And finding some days the calorie allowance just isn't enough, to the point where I shake if I don't eat!
Is there any settings on here so MFP knows your BF'ing and changes calories accordingly?

    Hi!
I don't know of a way you can do this but I know on average you burn 500 cals/day breastfeeding, and the need for adequate hydration is essential too! Add an extra 500 so you and Baby are getting enough nutrients. (I'm a student Midwife so I tell my ladies this all the time)
    Hope this helps

Yes, search breastfeeding under foods and add 500 calories a day if your baby is exclusively BF and not on solids, and 300 calories if they are not nursed as often and get solids (my DD is 8 ½ months old and this is what I do.) Definitely start eating more, you don’t want to be shaking or worse, affecting your milk supply by not eating enough.
