Hi everybody!

I am a super picky breakfast eater, anyone have any suggestions? Normally I eat an english muffin toasted with light peanut butter, but I've noticed that takes up quite a few of my daily calories.

I've listed some of the things I dont like... if you have any suggestions they would be Really appreciated!!!

I don't like:
oatmeal
cereal or milk
yogurt

Any thoughts?

Scrambled eggs (whole or whites depending on your preference)
    Whole wheat waffles
Small serving of "fried" potatoes with onions and peppers (just use only a little olive oil)
  • eggs are always simple - anyway you make them. Low-Cal, especially if you take out the yolks! :) Good luck!
  • What about a smoothie?

I'm also a picky breakfast eater, I ONLY eat oatmeal, cereal or smoothies, LOL.

Good luck! I know an egg white omelet or sandwich are popular :)

    1) Scrambled eggs or omlette - use one whole egg plus two egg whites, tastes good, high protein low cals.
    2) Breakfast Smoothie - fruit juice, banana, random fruit, throw in some cereal/oatmeal/muesli (you won't notice but you'll get the benefit)add raisins, basically any fresh fruit you have, seeds etc etc - blend the whole lot
    3) Learn to like oatmeal - make it with water, throw in dried fruit etc, force yourself to eat it a few times and you'll start to enjoy it - great healthy breakfast and takes 2.5 mins in the microwave

Egg scramble with diced veggies and spices (pepper, rosemary, oregano, parsley, chili, garlic are my faves)
    1 large egg = about 80 cals
    1 egg white = about 17 cals
    2 egg whites = 1 whole egg, but 34 calories versus 80

Egg whites on english muffing are good, too

Celery with pb is good, too (well, IMO anyway)
  • Try this:
    1. Egg beaters, ½ cup
2 slice whole wheat bread or whole wheat English muffin
2 tsp Smart Balance margarine total: 225 calories

Maybe even some of the frozen breakfast items at the grocery store. I eat some of the smart ones.

    Hope this helps some!

2 slices of black forest ham
1 slice reduced fat american or cheddar cheese
2 egg whites or 1 whole egg (I prefer the whites only) fried in olive oil cooking spray
Pile it all on a lite english muffin or 100 calorie bagel !

    Good luck!

I like granary bread toasted with marmite, followed by a piece of fruit and black filter coffee...
