I was looking over my ideal calorie intake just now, and I was wondering if people here only watch their cal intake, or if they watch fat/carb/sodium etc. as well? Because my carb intake says it should be in the 200s, but I just ate a yogurt that is 100 calories but 20g of carbs. I have been looking over food in my house and it just seems hard to ONLY have 208 carbs/day, 50g of fat and 57g of protein a day. So, I was just wonder how other people look at it?

I look at sodium and calories. The salt makes you retain water weight and the calories make you fat, lol. Usually if I watch those two everything else falls in line, except sugar if I eat fresh fruit, which I usually subtract the amoung of sugar that came from fruit from my daily total.0

The ones that I really pay attention are calories and sodium, for the reasons already mentioned. I try to keep everything else in line as much as possible, but I definitely don't freak out when my protein intake goes over the limit.
I have heard as well that MFP has some absurdly low numbers for some of the categories, so I don't spend too much time stressing over it.0 -
ok, I was just wondering. Some of the numbers did seem a little low, I just wanted to see what everyone else thought of it. I have never been on a diet like this. I exercise 2 hours a day, everyday but that just wasnt enough. And I wanted to make sure I was going to go about it right.0

I look at my macros, but total honesty? I don't worry or stress about them. I've lost all my weight by pretty much just concentrating on my calories. I'm pretty much always way under on fat, but then over on sugars from my fruit, over on sodium cuz I love salt, and over on carbs, protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals.0
