  • I love the pre-packaged raw almonds! They are delicious and pretty filling. The portion packaging also helps me to stay on track. ;)

    Some of my favorities:
    Quinoa (red or white)
Teriyaki chicken (the BBQ strips, not the whole breasts, those have a sauce that is too gooey/salty for me. I often don't use the sauce that comes with the strips, the chicken is really tender and delicious as-is)
    Organic veggie foursome (frozen)
    Green beans (frozen)
Very berry cherry blend (frozen fruit)
TJs Vanilla Greek Yogurt (incredible with the frozen fruit)
    Tejava (unsweetened iced tea)
Eggplant/zuchini/mozzarella frozen mix (don't recall exact name, DELICIOUS!)

I love their frozen food section - ready meals for the microwave - I love the chicken masala (dont forget the naan), a variety of fish dishes, edamames. Also, I never leave without their 60 cal Mango and cream ice cream bars, chili and beans (99% fat free), pita crackers, guac, hummus, etc...

OH! Where to begin? For lunch I love the black bean and corn enchiladas...freezer section. Or the spicy ranchero egg white salad (fridge section). I eat that with their reduced quilt woven wheats or plop it on a bed of spinach with fresh grape tomatoes.

A good work snack are the pre-packaged almonds. My favorite new Trader Joes guilty pleasure is their Sweet Onion Rings, in the chip section. They taste like Funyons but so much less cals and fat.

Ok, now I am hungry! Good luck!
  • I like the frozen tuna steaks about 120 cal each and they are pretty big portions! They have Ahi tuna, and Mahi mahi yummmmy!
  • This might sound silly, but their organic bananas are the best! In fact, all of their produce is excellent quality and competitively priced. Oh, and their hummus and yogurts are great too! Lots of options and good prices :) Happy shopping!

I love Trader Joes!! They have lots of delicious, unprocessed/no additive foods and entrees to choose from. I can't get all of my groceries there but it is definately worth a bi-weekly stop for me.

See a list of some of my favorite items from there on my blog post:

    Happy Shopping,

Check out their prepared salads. Lots of good low calorie options. Lowfat greek is one of my favorites with 140 calories INCLUDING dressing. Also roasted beet w/chicken and low-fat chinese chicken.

Their marinated mahi mahi (freezer section) is fantastic on the grill if you're looking for something for dinner.

I like getting their Roasted Plantain Chips, raw nuts, frozen eggplant parm, chicken tenderloins, edamame, british english whole wheat muffins, cranberry walnut & gorgonzola vinaigrette, cereal bars (for my husband and my 3 boys), avocado, earth balance butter, and zucchini.

O...M...G! Their hummus is simply amazing. Especially if you eat it with the plain pita chips.
