so I had 1/2 cup COOKED brown rice for lunch....but on the food log, it only gives me a choice of uncooked. I used 1 cup UNCOOKED. I don't know math :O anyways....how many cups of UNCOOKED rice did I eat if it was 1/2 cup COOKED?

Typically 1/2 cup of Uncooked rice will become 1 cup Cooked rice. The package will tell you that if you cook 1 cup of uncooked rice it will yeild 4 servings, each being 1/2 Cooked.

It should be about 1/4 cup for most types of rice. It typically doubles in volumn so 1 cup uncooked rice is equal to about 2 cups cooked, but I would check the package because some can make up to 3 cups cooked.0

between .17 and .25 of a cup. Most rice you add 2 parts water to one part uncooked rice to cook. which would mean it tripples in bulk, BUT you lose water to steam, so somewhere between 2 and three times bulk for cooked rice compaired to uncooked. You would be safe if you put in .20 for your serving size.0
