In the AM I scoop a bowl full of frozen fruit out of a 5# bag of mixed berries. You can microwave to defrost 'em if you're forgetful.

1 cup berries
4 - 8 oz Tropicana OJ
3 oz (half) Light & Fit yogurt
*sometimes I add half a banana
* sometimes I add wheat germ

YUMMY and FILLING.

  • Just curious, wouldn't this contain a lot of sugar? Sounds great though!

    I don't know the sugars, sorry. 208 calories. Might be more like 240 as often the fruit is more on the cup side.

    Super filling and I'm eating pretty healthy items (exception sugar substitutes & food coloring in yogurt).

    Bananas - Raw, 0.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) 53 13 0 1
    Juice - Orange - Tropicana Trop 50, 8 oz. 50 13 0 1
    Dannon Light N Fit Yogurt - 6oz - Blueberry, 3 oz 40 8 0

    do you use raw or toasted wheat germ?? my mom picked up raw and i am afraid to use it, i cant wait to taste that smoothie, i could live off of them!!
