Not feeling well

I need some help - I just really started logging my diet on here yesterday and I didn't come near my calorie goal yesterday - but today I think I did a little better almost reaching my goal, but I'm still feeling sick to my stomach. Do I need to eat more snacks through out the day?

Should I be eating something more then what I am so far... do I need to eat more foods that are filling - this morning I had 1/2 of a grapefruit, 2 cups of cherrios, small handful of grapes - 6' inch subway sandwhich and then the other half of the subway for dinner...

Suggestions would be great.

You need to eat some protien girl! You are definitely not eating enough and you will end up feeling tired and hungry. I'm not sure how many calories you are on but you can go look at my diary if you want and see what I eat. I am far from eating perfect right now but I do the best I can with what I have to work with at the moment and I have been losing weight at a steady pace. I rarely feel deprived. I get at least 45 minutes of excercise a day 5 days a week and I feel great.
Maybe add more veggies too...broccolli fills me up big time.
  • I can feel like that, too! I try not to let myself get hungry... ever. I eat every 1-2 hours even if it's just a little something. One thing that really helps me is string cheese. I don't know if it's good for me or not but I do know it gets me through some tough times! Make sure you're drinking enough water, too. Sometimes being dehydrated can cause some crazy symptoms.

I've also discovered when I feel really icky I will do a bunch of push ups or pull ups (I use the red band). You immediately earn some more calories and can have a piece of toast or something!

You have to balance the sodium with some potassium. Between the Cheerios and the Subway Sandwich your sodium load is too high. Find potassium in oranges, orange juice, bananas, low-sodium V-8, potatoes, etc.

I agree that you need to eat more. More protein rich foods and lots of veggies. Have a healthy snack or two during the day to incorporate more veggies and protein into your diet.
