Bowflex HRM

Hey everyone. I just purchased a Bowflex Fit Trainer HRM yesterday off of eBay and I'm wondering if anyone owns one. I'm hoping that I made the right choice to save a few bucks instead of going all out for a Polar. Good and bad reviews are appreciated!

    I hate the bowflex. In my opinion, it is too 'snappy'. That is, it is difficult to do smooth reps, which can cause joint issues. If one gets a little too brave on weight and starts to fail mid-rep you can't just drop the handles as they whip around like sling shots.

    Just to be fair, I am heavily biased against anything other than free weights. I have used a bowflex, my neighbor has one in his garage and loves it.
