A friend of mine said that her and her husband were on it, ( shes never been overweight in her life ) and that it gets rid of belly fat and also that its recommended by cardiologist, well belly fat is one of my MAIN issues that and my arms, I was just curious if anyone has tried it and liked it, I right now enjoy counting calories, but where do I go if that doesn't work ya know? So I was just curious to see if anyone tried it and liked it, in case I need a plan B

It's actually next on my reading list. I just finished the Atkins book and am really impressed at the new revisions. I'm currently reading Good Calories, Bad Calories and like it as well. Remember though - none of these plans are "diets" in the sense that you will lose weight, then go right back to eating the way you did before. It's a lifetime change. I think we all know that but need to really deeply KNOW that if you know what I mean.

I did South Beach with great success. But then...... I'm also reading Good Carbs Bad Carbs right now! But the one I just got interested in is the Anabolic Diet. Much like South Beach; you eat low carbs for weekdays and then are allowed carbs on the weekends. So far it's working well and I'm not hungry or having any weird cravings.

I also have high cholesterol so I have to watch my fat and sodium intakes. That gets tricky with South Beach and/or Anabolic.

    Best of luck !!
