C-Sections Will the pooch go away?

I have heard mixed reviews on this topic. I've never had a problem getting my belly in shape but this time it is different. I had one C-Section and I'm worried. Now I still have maybe 20 pounds to go. The more weight I lose the more my goal actually changes. I just want to be tone.. I want a bikini body damn it! So if there are any mom's out there that have had a c-section and success getting your abs back please enlighten me. I would rather not go the route of a tummy tuck. Thanks in advance!!

I've heard that it can be done. There's a lot of factors involved such age, number of kids, how long you've been carrying the weight around, determination, etc. I've had 2 c-sections and I been heavy since I was 5 or 6. But I'm still young (21 years old) so I'm hoping my determination pays off. Right now I'm doing core strengthening classes twice a week at my gym.

BTW my son will be 3 in September and my daughter will be 1 in March. I've lost 91 pounds so far and I'm noticing a huge difference but I still have a ways to go. And then there's the loose skin issue that I worry about but I'm hoping the strength training will take care of that problem.

    I had a c-section ( 26 years ago).....and have worn my bikini after that...no pooch...no scar showing....

You can absolutely have a flat tummy.

I hope so. I had two c-sections, my daughter will be 4 in May and my son is 11 months, I'm 29. It's hard for me to do abdominal exercises because of an injured tailbone.

Yes. I know a few people who had c-sections and have no pooch.

I'm so glad to hear that.
  • I've had 2 c-sections and wear a 2 piece bathing suit... you can def get your abs back easily. but your lower abs is prob the hardest and takes the most work
