MFP put me down for 1300 calories a day. I usually work out most days and burn between 400-500 calories. I usually close off my day around 200 calories under my goal. So, shouldn't I at least loose 1 pound this week? Why hasn't the scale budged??

I am a firm believer in that it what you eat and how often you eat really matters! No processed carbs, keep low sugar, eat every 2-3 hours, up your protein. But this is just my opinion.

Your body is going into starvation mode. You need to consume at least 1200 calories. If you are set at 1300 and have 200 left at the end of the day then that is only 1100 calories. Add to the fact that you burn 400-500 that puts your calorie count around 600 to 700. Your body can't function at this low level. This is what I've been told over and over. Hope others can confirm this for you.

...and, you probly did loose weight.1 pound weight loss is very difficult to detect. A 20oz bottle of water weights one pound.
Average your daily weight at the week end, then week end weight at month end. Then you will see it.

Personally, I prefer to compare body measurements over weight as your size doesn't fluctuate near as much as weight.

Weight loss isn't consistent. You may lose nothing this week and lose 4 pounds next week. Just keep your sodium low and drink all of your water. You also might try taking a break from exercise the day before your weigh in. When my mom was in Weight Watchers, they told her to not exercise the day before a weigh in because it can cause your muscles to hold water.
