I just thought I'd recount an experience I had the other day ...

I cycle to work and stop at red lights, it just so happened on this day that I shared my ride with 3 people, who basically did the same route as me .. I don't know these people by the way, me, another woman and a man.

I, as I said, stop at the red lights, the woman, ran every red light though she went up to it slowly, hesitated and crawled across - the man jumped off at every red light and walked his bike across and jumped back on the other side.

The outcome - we all arrived at Leicester Square at exactly the same time ...... which was pretty amazing...

It made me think of my diet and the people I'm doing it with and the point is this .. it does not matter how you get to your goal, whether you cheat or don't cheat, whether you cut corners or not, whether you follow the rules or not, whether you are slower or faster, whether it takes you forever to drop the pounds or they come off pretty quickly - you will get where you want to go in the end, don't judge others for how they chose to get there, most people know the risks and if they are prepared to take them then that is their responsibility.

Afer all, a child who learns to walk at 9 months is not a better walker than a child who does not walk until he is 2 ... a dieter is not a better dieter because they follow one diet or another, or they get to their goal quicker than someone else - whatever way you decide to reach you goal is ok with you and it does not matter what anybody else thinks.

We all get where we are going ... eventually, by any means we can .. just do what you have to do, the way you have to do it ..

That is all

lol xx
