Ab Lounge

Hello MFPers :flowerforyou:
Today I decided to dust off an Ab Lounge in my garage and see if it will help me gain some definition in my Abs. On a high note...yoga, cardio (walking), and strength training is really moving my entire bod in the right direction (North instead of South!! )
Anyway...just figured being I have this piece of equip in the garage I am going to give it a go...doing 2 sets of the 5 recommended exercises 5 days a week.
I will let you know if it REALLY created any significant difference in the measurement or appearance of my ABS.
I don't work for this company...I am just one of those vicarious consumers who was probably emotionally eating at midnight  watching an infomercial when I bought it.
I was most likely eating something like ice cream  and the purchase was in an effort to redeem myself from the caloric overload.
Does or has anyone use this sit up lounge??...Please chime in with your opinion and let me know if you think it will work.
Have an AMAZING day! MFP!!

I have one, and when I use it I definitely feel it in my abs. I think if used regularly, it will tone the abs, but it isn't a magic bullet like the infomercial says it is. They try to make it sound like using the Ab Lounge, and nothing else, will give you a six-pack...too bad I have a keg..
I believe that cardio and diet will make more of a long-term difference in the way the stomach looks.
btw...my five year old called it an *kitten* Lounge the other day....:blushing:0 -
Hey GTO...do you think if I lay on it on my stomach it will help my rear?
Maybe your child just invented the next greatest workout lounge!!
No kiddin..."outa the mouth of babes"!!

I tried it laying on my stomach and it killed my back..so I wouldn't recommend it.
Kids do say some of the darndest things...0 -
My fiance's mother gave us one that she never used. I am really short and tried to use it a few times. I think I caused more injuries to myself than anything else. I don't know if I would recommond the thing. I think we might sell ours in a garage sale. But good luck with it.0
