Im eating right, (I think), but I have no energy to do any sort of exercise.
Im a homeschool mom, and by the time I get the kids done with school work, I just want to curl up on the couch and veg in front of the TV.

You have to make yourself do it until it becomes a routine. I get up at 4:15 in the morning just to exercise before my daycare kids get here and before I have to get my children up and off to school. Believe me it was an uphill battle trying to get myself to do that because I am definitely a last minute person. But thats one of the things I'm trying to change..... being last minute and making myself do the things I need to do regardless of my laziness.

You have to do the same. No matter how tired you feel you have to forge onward. Then when you shower and rest you will definitely start to feel the difference.

Also exercising gives you more energy. You will find that you will be less tired during the day.

I feel the EXACT same way! I've struggled with energy levels forever and the winter time doesn't make it any better.

It could be a variety of things, such as vitamin deficiency to just no motivation - completely mental.

    - Try StressTabs Energy. These are about $5-6 for 75 tablets. They help restore nutrients lost when we're stressed. These have definitely helped take the edge off and given me a boost in energy.

    - B Vitamins. Take a supplement to bring better energy production from the foods you eat. You could be Vitamin B-12 deficient.

    - Try Omega-3 Fish Oil capsules. These elevate mood which in turn help you feel more motivated to work out.

    - Eat an orange with breakfast. You'll feel more energized within minutes after eating an orange. After being up all night with a little one and nursing full-time, I turned to these for extra energy to perk me up in the day.

    - Vitamin D. During the winter, we don't have as much energy and the lack of Vitamin D (no sunlight) makes it worse. Eat some low-fat string cheese, yogurt, milk, and/or take a vitamin supplement to get some energy back.

    - Exercise. YES - the first 20 minutes are hard, but if you make a contract with yourself to do JUST 20 minutes (to start) a day of some kind of exercise - yoga, kickboxing, dance, whatever you enjoy - you will feel more energetic overall. Strength training is EXCELLENT for energy production.

    - Take a 20 minute power nap. If you are extremely tired, give yourself a break and take a 20 minute nap while the kids are reading or doing a worksheet for school work. I was homeschooled along with my four other siblings and I know it was hard on my mom to keep up with all our music lessons, school work, and even running a household, and I know that her 20 minute nap every day helped her feeling better focused.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!

    Thanks for the tips ladies.

I do take B12, and D. It would be much better if I could get some nice fresh air without it freezing right away. lol

I did get to thinking, and just going to do a few minutes here and there. So instead of playing on the computer or watching the little bit of the Today show (while I waited for the kids to finish up morning routine), I got my step out and did 7 min.

When they have a 15 min break later, I will try to do something else and then Im going to stick to what we are supposed to do after lunch as a family (exercising again,) so I will get it in little by little.
