I've been on MFP for a little while now and I realized that I hadn't written ANYTHING in my profile yet. Not that there's anything super exciting but I feel like I've started to get to know many of you and I wasn't letting anyone get to know me.

    Pleased to meet you!! Its nice to hear about you having your first child so young, im 20 with a 5 month old daughter and sometimes i feel the....(how shall i say this)....."look" from people (no one on here though:happy: ) when they find out im such a young mom....but i kinda love being a young momma and starting my family at this age! Anyways hope you enjoy your time on here!

    Hey I know that look! I had my first when I was 19. Know this though--when you have your first grandbaby you will still be young! My oldest is almost 17 now and I cannot believe that I could be a grandma before I turn 45. I am not rooting for that but it is possible. I will be able to take them to the park, have them over night & enjoy them because I am gonna be young and hopefully more fit. Yeah:happy: !

    I agree with you. I always say that I might have missed out on somethings but I'll have the energy to enjoy so much more!! I know the look that you're talking about. Don't worry about it, it goes away!!

    I know that look very well I was 16 yrs with my first and back then people were really rude. My kids are 17years and 25 years(at the end of the month). Boy do I feel old. :laugh:

    My first just turned 13!!!! That made me feel old to know I had a teenager!!
    But I figure I'll feel even older when he turns 18 and I'm 35!!!

    I'm 40 and my 2nd grandchild was just born three weeks ago, lol. It can happen and the two kids are from my 2nd child!!
